What makes a house a home?
A Compy carpet! Warm, cozy and rich with woven stories.
Welcome home to the Littau Carpet.

„Threads of Terrain“ weaves connective landscapes that support biodiverse ecosystems and non-human migration, frees waterways as veins of a sponge city, and revives Littau’s agricultural identity through urban farming and permaculture as social incubation.

„Caring for Tapestry“
densifies existing neighborhoods through functional diversification, dissolves the binary between nature and culture through ecotone-like transitions, and prioritizes pedestrian and bike-friendly mobility with clear separation from car traffic.

„The Open Weave“ pierces porosity into architecture — connecting old and new social spaces for intergenerational living, embracing the 15-minute city ideal, and empowering communities through democratic participation, intersectional planning, and diverse ownership models.

The Littau Carpet is never fully finished: it is designed to welcome change, to be mended, expanded, or rewoven over time — a home for all life forms to thrive together.
